So the SEC has 13 teams in the baseball regionals including 6 of the top 8 seeds. I love the fact that conferences have no more than 1 automatic bid which does not guarantee anything when it comes to seeding. So why can't football look like this with similar SEC domination? The Big 10 is not nearly as deep as the SEC in football, and most of the time has 1 or 2 elite looking teams. So don't give them 4 automatic CFP bids. I say give each power conference 1 automatic bid and let the rest of the chips fall where they may, which will likely be into the SEC's lap. The SEC could get half the CFP playoff spots in a good year, and there is no other conference that could even dream of this.
