People will say he wasn't charged to try and justify it but you are correct, they selectively pick and choose what they think is right and wrong. I still think letting him go was the right decision though. Should make for some fun future SEC matchups though!Un-fvcking believable.
In the era of #MeToo you've got a guy that CLEARLY assaulted his female domestic partner. She had bite marks, for God's sake, and that's indisputable. So whether she started it or he started it, it doesn't matter. He's a female abuser. Period.
And the selective outrage and targeting by the vocal virtue crowd on the left tells me one thing and one thing only- not everyone is held to the same standard by those hypocritical little fvck sticks.
Oh, he will. He'll be poaching Texas talent from us for years to come. Our only hope is to pay more.I wonder if he tries to poach any of the coaching staff or players from us? I definitely would if I was him.
He’ll do well. He won’t turn them in to a monster. They’ve only been to the NCAA tournament 9 times in program history. 5 times in the last 21 years.Beard is a damn good coach if we keep Terry and IF he sets us back a couple of years and Beard has Ole Miss rolling the joke will be on us. Beard will be laughing all the way to the bank if he turns Ole Miss into a monster.
Does Terry have any skeletons in the closet? He’ll do well. He won’t turn them in to a monster. They’ve only been to the NCAA tournament 9 times in program history. 5 times in the last 21 years.
Even if he does kill it. Doesn’t mean that Texas was wrong. They made the correct decision and regardless of what happens at Ole miss or whatever happens at Texas it’s Chris Beard’s fault he’s not at Texas.
I do hope that he took his short time away from the game to get his house in order personally
Well he’s been an assistant at Texas for many years, and a HC at 3 different spots so I’m guessing no, but if he beats his wife tomorrow I’d expect texas(and every other major program) to make the same decisionDoes Terry have any skeletons in the closet?
I’m not saying people shouldn’t get second chances. I think people should most of the time. However your 2nd chance doesn’t have to come at the place you screwed up at. In fact it rarely does. I guarantee you that it will eat at Chris Beard for the rest of his career that he screwed up the Texas opportunityUrban is a good coach and his personal sh&+ was out there cause that is what he does. Morals might be wrong, but you can't change the fact they can coach. Briles was a good coach, but what he did was wrong. But look his son is still out there and the new coordinator at TCU. People will dismiss everything when they gotta keep up with the Jones.
And Ole Miss might of never been anything in basketball but doesn't mean it can't change look at Ole Miss in baseball they had only been to the College World Series 6 times and they finally win one!
Like i've said many times, Beard isn't the only good coach in America. They made the right decision letting him go.Beard is a damn good coach if we keep Terry and IF he sets us back a couple of years and Beard has Ole Miss rolling the joke will be on us. Beard will be laughing all the way to the bank if he turns Ole Miss into a monster.
I don't debate anything you stated. But tell me how to reconcile this with rooting for Arterio Morris.Again the people who put winning and a sport, more important than being a decent person and oh idk NOT abusing a woman are sad af. IDC that hes going to Ole Miss and they said oh we can look past this. Oh he wasnt charged and she dropped the charges/said she lied. There was PLENTY proof that he was involved in that dispute. Stop putting coaches and players on pedestal and acting like they are above the law and morals. ITS A SPORT. BEARD IS A P.O.S, has many many issues/demons he needs to work out and Ole Miss can cash that check with the devil. Better them than us. If you would rather have THAT as your coach, then you have your priorities in life messed up. The same type of person who would say "WE WANT URBAN MEYER AS OUR COACH!"
SMH gtfo
I was surprised that Morris didn’t at least get suspended, but I will say this it is completely different when a player gets in trouble and when your coach gets arrested and in trouble. The coach is held to a higher standard(and rightfully so)I don't debate anything you stated. But tell me how to reconcile this with rooting for Arterio Morris.
With its reputation at stake, where does UT draw the line?
