I'm an old and don't usually do anything on NYE, so it won't bother me, but in my younger days, we always had things planned. If Texas were playing, I think my wife would have let me get away with at least listening, but there's no way she would have let me watch a game like OU-Alabama since I don't have a dog in that fight. I think it it keeps the casual CF fan from tuning in.
