so I think the confederate flag could possibly stand for something more than slavery just like the U.S. Flag stands for more than raping and killing and double dealing native americans (and many other examples). However, the reason I wouldn't debate any of that, other than the fact that I really don't give a rat's ass about it, is that even though what I say might be true and the flag could be logically distanced from "representing slavery" it cannot be distanced from the inbred bigots that you always see unfurling that shit today.
I bring that up because as much as I do not believe the BLM stuff is harmless and peaceful or even built on a legitimate claim (police kill black people because they are racists), when the counter demonstration has some motherfvcker with a confederate flag, it's hard to argue the finer points of why BLM is at best misdirected and at worst the genesis of violence toward our LE community.
