From 1908 till now. Congrats coming back down 3-1 first time since 85 to ever do that.

This is for you @Scholz where ever you're at man. Enjoy the win since our Horns are giving us headaches.

You beat me to it robo :)

I don't watch baseball haven't for a long time. I check the standings in September and see who is doing well. So I noticed the Cubs. Could this be finally? I have only watched one baseball in its entirety the last few years and that was that heart wrenching loss the Rangers had to St Louis a few years ago.

But I watched game 6 between the Cubs and Dodgers. I knew that as soon as the second inning that the Cubs were finally going to the WS.

I watched bits and pieces of the first 6 games and I watched this one from the 3rd inning had to promise my granddaughter I'd buy her a happy meal this weekend to get her away from the tube. Hey a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do.

There was a lot of drama here. For the Indians it's been 68 years since they've won the WS. But they've had a few chances the last 20 years. In fact they've had a recent drought of their own they hadn't won a championship of any kind in over 52 years before Lebron finally broke through in June. Still I couldn't help but to feel some pain for them.

So what a Game 7 it turned out to be. I'm telling you Hollywood couldn't have topped it. It couldn't have been a routine game.

Legendary Cubs announcer Harry Carey used to yell "Cubs win Cubs win" every time they won even one game. This time its

Cubs win
Cubs finally win

aggsy everywhere now think they are next.
Exhibit A on how the "Aggies are ruining our board". Talking baseball and a horn has to go there.....

On another note shouldn't we let Scholz bask in the reflected glory of his Cubs? (I think he's a fan isn't he?)

Congrats to the cubbies! Heck of game, and with the late ending.... now I'm going to useless all day.

Last night I drank a budweiser and asked a friend of mine "Hey...... what if the moon was made of cheese?!".

I'm actually thinking of buying a cubs jersey, not a huge fan but that was probably my all-time favorite series I've ever seen. It was like watching the 2006 Rose Bowl all over again.

I had a layover in Chicago today and was half expecting to see Bill Murray just partying with people. Seems like something he'd do.

Also, every single newspaper in the terminal was gone. Looks like the lowest expectation burglar of all time went on a spree and only stole papers.

Thanks, Robo. Still hasn't sunk in for me. It's unreal. Can't be true.

Scholz up there in baseball heaven Harry Carey is pounding back the Budweiser, or is it vodka? Lord knows the man had a fram oil filter for a liver singing take me out to the ballgame. Ron Santo and Ernie Banks are crying tears of joy. Man the baseball gods put the Cubs through a lot of stress last night. First when they were four outs away with nobody on and pow! The Indians score three runs. Then there was the rain delay maybe the shortest rain delay in baseball history. Then two runs in the tenth and then with two out and nobody on the Indians score a run. Then the Cubs finally put it away. Oh, and before that they were down 3 to 1.

"Hey...........what if the moon was made of ribs.....would you eat it then? ............Just say yes and we'll move on....."

Harry's hammered somewhere, that's for sure.
