After Cam’s 3rd penalty on that first drive, DJ is walking back to the huddle and you can tell he’s pissed. But he quickly gathers himself, turns around, goes up to Cam Williams, and says to Cam to “just calm down, just calm down.” (You can just read DJ’s mind as he is talking with his hands.) I saw it during a re-watch and thought two things: “(1) There is the future leader on the OL and (2) The moment was literally not too big for them.”
Also, DJ could relate because last year he was the one committing pre-snap penalties. Now, he’s being a mentor to the younger one. #culture
