A lady working for the State was doing research on Women Athletes from North Texas and came across a name that she thought might recognize. It was my grandmother. Apparently she lettered and was a member of the T Association. She lettered in Baseball and was inducted in 1919. She sent me three UT yearbooks, 1916, 1918, and 1919. In 1916 our major rivals were Oklahoma, Sewanee, and A&M. I never knew this family history. I did know Sewanee and Texas played each other but I didn't know they were bitter rivals. Crazy stuff
