Forgive me. It's been like 20 years since my last RRS and I was 13. So I don't remember much.

I have some questions if anyone can oblige?

1. If the fair opens at 9 and GameDay starts at 8, how does that work?

2. Best place to park?

3. Must do's

4. Things not to waist time on?

It's my wife's first time at the state fair so I want to be prepared and show her a good time.

1. Gate openings covered I saw below

2. Nowhere, LOL. Fair Park is a shit box. If you go early enough ride the train if it is running.

3. Get a Fletcher's or two. The Fried Elvis is pretty damn good too. If you're not afraid of heights ride the Ferris Wheel/Gondola. There are usually some sport type set ups around. Check those out

4. If you've got a first timer, do as much as you can.

Nothing like a Fletcher's corny dog at 8:00 am!

Parking is a nightmare. Take the train - it drops off right in front of the gates.

They don't take money for food and rides - you have to buy tickets. Go back towards the midway for the ticket booths. All of the booths at the front of Fair Park are packed.

This is the greatest event our State has to offer - enjoy the day!!

We are section
Nose bleeds.......section 111. You?

The fair after the game is a complete cluster. We usually leave when its over. Go to the fair the day before or day after.
We are section 17 row 8. Right behind the band-ish I believe

Someone give me some good OU memes for a sign. Wife wants to make one for game day

Actually when Texas wins the fair is fun and quiet and you see all the gooners leave, but if we lose don't stick around if you wanna run into trailer park inbred trash throughout the whole rest of the day.

Can't spell cock sucker without OU.

Front- What keeps Texas from sliding off into the Gulf of Mexico?
Back- Oklahoma sucks

Picture of Chickasaw Chief Tishominko with a caption that says "Sooners stole my land".

Thujone bag of dicks drawing and a caption that read "Bob, we brought you a snack".

"Texas beating Oklahoma leaves a real 'trail of tears" <--- that one will piss errrrrbody off.

"OU fan in need of 2 tickets.
1 for me, 1 for my wife, cousin and sister."

TEXAS 49 Oklahoma 0
Then a under that a picture of the bombed out Murrah building. <---- that will also piss errrrrrbody off.

Can't spell cousin fvcker without OU.

Oklahoma women have their bottom rib removed so they can suck their own dick.

B!tch--- you live in a trailer park.

Barry Switzer won with Jimmy Johnson's players.

Mars = Oklahoma
Red dirt. No intelligent life forms.

What do OU fans do on Halloween?
Under that put a picture of a pumpkin......................
(You'll figure it out)

It's so easy to pick up an OU b!tch in a bar.
Just tell her she has a nice tooth.

Oklahoma's Defense gave Toby Keith stomach cancer <---- potential fight

Just so you know- they won't allow any vulgar signs anymore. You'll want to take a couple in case they boot one of them. The pumpkin one might slip past them.

Print a picture of George Washington and then the phrase,
“Tis Mid Morning and OU still inhales most vigorously!!”

I'd park in the lots where the train/trolley picks up and drops off. Or uber. Just don't fall for some guy holding a sign for cheap parking. Daughter did that, only to find her car ticketed (fortunately wasn't towed).

I’ve been quite a few times just have your wife look at the fair itenarary for whatever days you’re going to be there, only she knows what will interest her, so many things to see. As you know the State fair isn’t in a great part of Dallas but inside the grounds, props to them for keeping it really clean. I always just parked on the perimeter of the fair sometimes paying folks to park on their property I’ve never had an issue, it is what it is, I wouldn’t leave valuables laying around, just use common sense, Ive always left before it got dark so that may be a good idea too. Just my .02

1. I have no idea. Sounds like a simple pass to get in early if you have a game ticket. Maybe take advantage of your free hour to explore and get a breakfast corn dog.
2. Any intown location that offers Dallas Dart very affordable bus or rail rides to/from park. This is always the go to for this game. Otherwise, Uber, park in the ghetto, or pay for or know a connection for premium parking.
3. Get to the fair 2-3 days before/after the game. DO NOT go the same day as game. And if you go to game it’s a brutal beat down in/out of the mass elbow to elbow crowd. If we win it always makes it a little more enjoyable.
4. The fair is awesome!!!! See #3.

Corn dog during breakfast is by definition a breakfast corn dog.
I don't go to games. I probably never will. I don't want to sit in the stands. Not the same.

I can understand that. When you’ve been on the field under the lights, sitting in the stands feels wrong.
I couldn’t go to a baseball game until my son started playing. That “closed the book” for me. Hopefully at some point we get a Clob Jr. On the turf at DKR. I always like to see legacy players.
