Glad Clemson has kept me from having to pull for Bama tonight.
Yeah this is not the Cotton Bowl we all grew up with. Sucks, but the Cotton Bowl probably only gets to play a part in the playoff because it's in Jerry world.

Clemson is beatable. I was surprised to learn they were -2 in turnover margin, prior to tonight's game. Alabama and Michigan have defenses to force turnovers. I think OU was fortunate to be there tonight, as they played an injured TCU & Baylor (1st string QBs were gone). Additionally, Texas beat OU early. Therefore, I am not convinced the OU defense is all that great.

I think Clemson being the only unbeaten, despite being in the negative in turnover margin, shows just how good they are. I got Clemson by two TDs over either one of these teams, even if they turn it over 4 times.
I agree that Clemson is good. Their offense moves the ball impressively. They made plenty of plays on defense tonight. If they do that in the next game, they probably win.
Bama pass rush pinning their ears back and going after a statue at QB. That will change against Watson.
Saban is a pretty amazing coach. I like him, but, can't stand bama.

Fowler's a total d!ck. I've met him on 3 different occasions and he is still butt hurt over the 70 points that Texas drubbed his Buffalo's by in 2005. His little munchkin ass said some pithy sh!t to a buddy and I one night about it and we were like "dude, we played a decade before that"...... I was at that game clob. We scored so fast in the 3rd quarter it was ridiculous. It could have been 100-3, had VY stayed in the game and played the 4th quarter. Colorado had no business being on the field with Texas that day.
Bama will destroy Clemson. Saban vs Swinney? Huge mismatch. I would say that Bama will be a 7 pt favorite
Disagree. Clemson can match up with Bama athlete for athlete everywhere on the field. Watson will cause too many problems for Bama's pass rush. I still say Clemson by two TDs.

I don't know, Alabama's O line is pretty stinking good. They may be able to run a little on Clemson. Clemson has a good OL but that Bama Dline is freaking stout. I am a little surprised with the way Coker has thrown the ball lately. I saw him a couple times during the season and thought they could be beat easily if they had to rely on his arm but he has been throwing it pretty well at the end of the year. I don't think Watson will be able to run like he did on OU. It will be a good matchup.
I do agree that Alabama has not faced a duel threat QB like Watson, in SEC play. However, that Bama defense....for a fact, Clemson has not faced those type of players in ACC play. Like I said, stranger things have happened. But to me, Bama was the more impressive team on NYE.
Clemson's oline will have to play their best game of the year to keep bama from getting in the backfield and disrupting plays. Watson can give them fits with his legs but he can't be running for his life all night.

Agree. Watson had a bad first half throwing the ball against OU. I don't think he can wait until the 2nd half against Bama to turn it on. It will probably be too late at that point.
