If Cruz loses the presidency, it'll firmly throw power in the GOP back to the establishment. They can tell Cruz to STFU about the idea that Republicans lose because they aren't "conservative enough". It'll probably signal a shift back to pre-Tea Party politics and a big win for the Republican establishment.
