Sonny Cumbie is going to be the savior of CS and the Texas offense?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but this guy has never been an OC. He is basically the QB coach at TCU. This screams coaching hire fail to me. Why can't we go and get an established successful OC? He may turn out to be good and I'm not knocking the guy, but you would think Texas and CS would want a guy with a proven track record instead of taking a chance on a young up and comer.
The OB report mentioned Texas may open the checkbook and pay him $1 million per year, WTF is that about. Why would you have to pay him so much to accept a promotion to OC and a job at Texas.
