Hate to see that injury tonight. Awesome player, but that could be a career ender for him. Best of luck.

Truly a sad sight. There was no contact whatsoever. He just tried to reverse directions and that was that.

As a Chiefs and Longhorn fan I've loved literarily seeing every snap of football he's played. Right when I seen him down I knew what it was. He already tore his achillies once. The list of people who have come back from 2 has to be pretty short.

It will be interesting to see how the Chiefs respond. Andy Reid and the players have never been shy to express how much DJ means to their entire team from a leadership standpoint. He sets the tone for everything they are trying to accomplish.

Based on everything I've ever read about an Achilles injury, it takes a year to heal and another to get back up to speed.

I haven't had the opportunity to see all his Chiefs games, but I know that he has been an outstanding ambassador for us. The NFL needs more Derrick Johnsons.

That's the 3rd Longhorn with season-ending injury in recent weeks...Quandre and Earl, now Derrick...sucks...
