His first album in almost 10 years. I really like it and agree with him that it’s his best work in years. He used more percussion than I’ve heard from him. Album flowed well with his patented multiple layers of sound. He did a really good job scaling back his lead guitar. Great balance there. The mood and lyrics were bleak and a reflection from the perspective of a man in his later years of life. This album is not gonna cheer you up but I really liked the flow. Liked that he brought his daughter into album for one song. Gilmour is a genius. Definitely worth a listen.
