Meanwhile, Ohio State, LSU, Alabama, Penn St. and Clemson keep rolling, with OSU, LSU and PSU having relatively new coaches. There is NO EXCUSE for Texas to not be in this group year in and year out! When is Texas ever going to get it right??!!
There is a lot of truth in this statement. We will ultimately limit our pool of applicants to far too narrow a group.
Let's start out by hiring a coach who can run a D. Then bring in a top OC who is good at what he do and not so much on who his name is.I think Herman can be a great coach but he must have better coaches. When I see our best WR, DUVVVVV, on the sideline in big situations and having freshmen playing in his place is a problem. Nothing against Smith but he shouldn't have a role that takes away from Duv. You need your best 11 on the field at all times. I'm not going to mention the D as I always have said that we run a D that get's no pressure on a QB.
So are you saying that if they played Texas' schedule that they'd have the same record that Texas does?
On what planet should Texas be expected to be on any of those teams level right now?
I never insinuated that. The point that I was making is that ArchDawg was saying that "Clem, Ala and Ohio haven't played anybody". If those teams played Texas' schedule, they would be undefeated. Texas in nowhere near the level of those teams, but they should be!
say what??? OU and LSU are no gimme games even for Clemson and Bama or OSU for that matter. Bama gets LSU this week so we will see how that goes, but to just assume they all win both games is ludicrous. I agree that all 3 roll TCU
