Talking to my girlfriend yesterday about how she likes to live by "some parts" of the bible and not others...
She asked what I was talking about and I told her well she thinks all men who cheat on their wives are awful. I told her nature doesn't really work that way. A lion has a pride and a buck has his doe etc etc. she said they don't have a bible and a the bible says we don't cheat. I said what about 1 Cor 14:34? She didn't know so I quoted "the women should keep silent in the churches (I told her it didn't really mean in church it meant all the time). For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says."
boy did she get pissed! I said it's the word of God written by the hand of God. Anyways, she's still pissed.
