Is there any realistic chance Texas can get out of moving to the SEC? The idea that Texas was going to go from not competing in the Big 12 to competing in the SEC was always a really dumb one, and that was before the realities of NIL became apparent. Now anyone with a functioning brain should be able to see that there is no path to success in the SEC. Texas simply does not have the culture in place to wage the kind of war it will take to be elite in that conference. Can we avoid making that mistake, or has the ship sailed?
