Downside to firing strong?

for the most part, I've been on the side or bringing back Strong for one more year. The question I've started asking myself is what is the real downside of letting him go, other than money. He has to replace all his coaches, so we aren't going to lose great coaches, as of now his recruiting class isn't great, so no risk with losing elite recruits. He's won 10 games in two years, I would think almost any coach could do that at Texas.

At this point it's starting to appear the is just too much upside potential and almost no downside to letting him go. Am I missing something?
