Dream scenario conference

What would be your dream scenario conference? I would have to go with the following:

Oklahoma
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech
LSU
Arkansas
Nebraska
TCU
Iowa St
Kansas
Arizona
Arizona St

This wont happen but it would be fun to see what everyone on the board is thinking.

If you have Kansas, you have to have KState I would think. So you would have to drop either Arky or Neb.

OU -- must have
osu -- little brother
Nebraska -- restore classic rivalries
Aggie -- ditto
LSU -- good for Aggie
Arkansas -- good for Aggie
Kansas -- bb
K-State -- package deal
Michigan -- it's the most similar school to Texas
tOSU -- awesome school, package deal
PSU -- ditto
MSU -- little brother

Texas / A&M had a good thing going. It's childish to think otherwise.

So any dream conference with Texas needs OU & TAMU. So you need osu. Sooners miss Nebraska, and if they'd admit it, the Huskers miss OU. (Same situation with the Aggies and us.) College football is the worse, for these rivalries being paused. Aggie likes LSU and Arky, so include them.

Maybe: Kansas for bb and hence KSU.

Baylor and TCU are about as necessary as SMU (i.e., not needed). Texas Tech isn't a terrible addition, but I'm unconvinced.

While we're dreaming, Michigan would be a great addition. They're the most similar school to Texas. So we'd need tOSU, PSU and MSU.

That's a tough schedule, and it's 13, so I think we drop Arkansas or PSU. Or we add Texas Tech or maybe TCU. Whoever seems most keen. Notre Dame if we can get them on board.

Of the many benefits: zero mascot overlaps!

Aggsy would never join a conf with Texas, they are too proud. I think LSU and Arkansas would join just to get a better chance at making the playoffs. Plus they would still get recruiting boost from playing Texas and blOwU every year. I would then raid the ACC for Miami FSU Clemson and Georgia Tech. Create a 14 team conference with an east/west division.

East LSU, FSU, Miami, Clemson Georgia Tech, WVU, and Rice
West: Texas blOwU, Okie Lite, Nebraska, Kansas, TCU, and Arkansas.

It would be a hell of a conference Better than the SEC B1G.

Horrible idea. Nobody who wants to get a good education would go to any of those schools other than TX. The Arizona schools are reasonably good.

Weird. Melding SWC with Big 8 minus KState, plus Arkansas, LSU and the lizard schools. Rather keep the big 12 add Houston and one other Big 12/SWC refugee. Arkansas or SMU.

Where the heck is Baylor? I've got news for you -- you need us more than we need you - UT has been losing a butt load in the allegedly weak Big 12. Imagine when you have an annual schedule including OU, tOSU, LSU, Michigan, Florida State, Clemson, etc. You need the patsies!

I'm sure there is no way the Southwest Conference name will ever be used again, but I like the sound of it, so I used it. Gotta balance out the east and west divisions. In my dream conference, there is no one in the west side that you could swap with Nebraska, which is why I have them in the east.
