About a week ago, defensive tackle Joshua Rogers listed a top three of Baylor, Houston and Texas A&M, in no order.

On Sunday, following an appearance at a Texas Longhorn mini-camp, Rogers noted that his grouping of favorites can change frequently. In fact, he said he really no longer has a top three.

"It keeps changing. I really don't have any idea of a top three right now," Rogers said. "It changes pretty much every week."

Rogers performed well at the UT camp and though he's on Texas' radar, the Longhorns have yet to offer. If that changes, he says Texas will quickly move up his list.

"They would definitely be top three," Rogers said. "They would definitely be top three."

Rogers holds early offers from a handful of programs, including Texas A&M, Baylor, Colorado, Colorado State and Houston. He's hopeful that his performance at the UT camp has put him in position to get a Texas offer at some point.

"It went pretty well. We went through drills. I was a little slow at first but then got the hang of it," Rogers said. "In one-on-ones, I won every rep. Just getting out there, getting the feel of it. Overall it was a good experience.

"When I got there, coach Strong was just telling me, 'We know you're highly recruited. You're on our radar now.' I'm expecting to hear a lot of contact from him from now on. They definitely would be a top consideration if they made that offer. They said they would be in touch."

As for what has the Longhorns on his recruiting radar, the 6-5, 270-pound Houston Christian product said it's UT's history of producing talent that really stands out.

"Defensive line, the type of defensive linemen the produce. It's non-stop NFL, from (Malcom Brown) for the Patriots. Guys like him, I can see myself in a few years like that, that's big," Rogers said.

Next up, Rogers will attend a Texas A&M camp on June 11. He said he'll probably hit another camp or two this summer but doesn't have anything scheduled at this point. His main goal this summer is to continue improve on his ability to get to the quarterback.

"I'm mostly trying to work on pass rush. I got a lot better than I thought I would today from coach Brick Haley and all the coaches telling me moves, just putting them in play and just working," Rogers said after the Texas camp. "That's the main thing I'm working on."
