Regardless of what other differences you and I have I have closely followed the Ravens the last few years. After they lost to the Titans I thought that Devin Duvernay would be a perfect fit for the Ravens. When the NFL draft came I was really hoping the Ravens would draft him. Although he's a rookie I have no doubt he will be a starter this year and when you put him and Hollywood Brown on the field one of them is certain to be open.
The best thing about him is his attitude. He came in with a chip on his shoulder said he was the best receiver in the draft and then played like it. A former Ravens player said his route tree was incomplete and he wasn't a good blocker. I guarantee you he will learn and he's the kind of player that will learn the first time. I knew it wouldn't take him long to earn the respect of the players. I have been disappointed to many times by TX receivers who were drafted but as long as he doesn't have a terrible injury DD is certain to be a great pro.
I don't know is this matters to you but I've never seen so many TX Longhorns starting on an NFL team certainly not on a team this good. The Ravens have the weakest schedule in the NFL and the only team in the AFC that can touch them is Kansas City. And SI thinks the only team in the NFC that can beat them is the Saints. If Lamar Jackson stays healthy he will be even better than last year. And there will be no stopping the Ravens. I almost forgot 3 Longhorns, DD, Justin, and Deshon Elliot will be starters.
For me personally there are so many great story lines about the Ravens. There are 4 sooners on the team and like TX 3 of them will be starters. Last year of them, Justin, and Mark Andrews, were in the Pro Bowl. The Ravens are truly team Rodney King can't we all just get along? Smile And can you imagine all 7 of them getting together to watch the RRR?
To be blunt part of the reason for the Big XII's mediocrity is that among the P5 conferences the Big XII sends the fewest players to the NFL. But the Ravens have found the good ones. Not just TX and OK, but OSU, TT, and Baylor have players on the roster and they will all get some time on the field. I still care about not just TX but the Big XII sending more NFL talent than they have. But there are 10 Big XII guys on the best team in the NFL
Btw there are other TX players on the Ravens. SMU and Houston rarely produce NFL worthy players but once again the Ravens found them. Hell they even found an aggie that can play lol. Lastly there is JK Dobbins from Lagrange, TX. You think he regrets not going to TX?

I don't follow baseball closely. But it's by far the oldest professional sport and has more legendary players than any other sport. This pandemic pretty much destroyed their season. But nowadays professional sports is as much about money as winning so they had to so something but it's not the same. I feel badly for their loyal fans who truly love the game.
Getting back to fb I need fb season more than ever this year. The pandemic destroyed baseball basketball season and good lord willing things will be back to normal next year. But there will be a college fb and NFL season. Not just fb but sports fans need a season where they can watch and have a chance to enjoy themselves for a few hours. This pandemic has forced more people to stay in their homes than they should. For my wife and I quality time is taking a 2 hour drive around Sacramento on Saturday afternoon. We spend the week taking care of our granddaughters while their mom is at work one of them is a 2 year old who is a handful. In CA pandemic, wildfires, air quality index, and heat wave have raged through the whole state and there's no let up in sight. We can't even take our granddaughters out for a walk. Good lord I can't count all the shows and documentaries I've binge watched being couped up will do that to you I'm sure it's done that to a lot us. This pandemic has messed with my psyche in ways I just now realized. I'm finally able to back to work first time in 6 months I'm telling you I had forgotten almost all their names. I have something meaningfull to do again. And more than anything an entire fb season can give me some enjoyment for a few hours on Saturday and Sunday. A lot of people may not realize how much they need it as well but I hope they do.
