at least he won't have to sing the eyes of texas. but, will he stand for the national anthem?
I hope he makes a roster. he certainly sowed improvement this season after a pretty bad start in the first couple of games. Sam was visibly mad at him.
You know in the last 4 games he was really starting to come into his own. I was hoping he would stay but I'm not surprised he's opted out.
But just going on the few touches he had against KSU and he doesn't test positive now is the time for Jordan Whittington to shine. I'd like to see us with a game plan built around JW, BR, and RJ next week.
And if Jake, Joshua, and Jared, make some big plays this could entice Quaydarius Davis and LJ Johnson to sign with us. Maybe.

I’m sure the NFL will be very impressed with his work ethic and commitment that he showed while he was here.
One thing I will say is that he is big and fast. He needs to work on his breaks in and out of his routes A LOT. Has above average ball skills.
It'll be interesting to see his combine #s.
He began playing much better towards the end. He made some tough physical catches. I even considered him the “go to clutch guy” the last half of the season. I wish the young man the best of luck. I don’t see the love affair with Whittington as Cali wants to game plan for him. He has potential, but I just haven’t seen it to where we should highlight him. I think a better choice would be to game plan for Wiley and Jake more.
He's got so much talent we need to make the most of his skills. If we do so he's a difference maker.
I’ll never understand why we don’t target Wiley 10 times a game over the middle. He’s a match up nightmare.

I read that he was learning a new position this year. I think we should take a page out of ISU's playbook and play both Wiley and Epps at the same time. Can you imagine those guys catching the ball over the middle and getting a 5 yard start?
Eagles is an UDFA at best. He had nothing to lose coming back for another year. He will be out of the league in 2 years.
Im sorry to seem him go becauseI I feel he needs more work to succeed at pro level.If you drop passes in the pros,run bad routes then you will be cut fast.This is one of the reasons Texas cannot win championships,too many ME,ME ME players.Give me more players like Ricky Williams who could have done the same thing.
These guys don't realize they will be landscaping, driving trucks, security guards, high school coaches or something similar looking back on their playing days. It is like he just tossed away his best football year.

I know Eagles hasn't accomplished a fraction of what he could have at the college level. You really think he would be happy coming out of high school and told in 3 seasons he would only score 11 TDs? Catch 61 passes? Jordan Shipley went in the 3rd round and had 33 TDs and 248 catches. Eagles could greatly improve his draft status with a solid senior year. Both college and pro careers are short, giving up that chance to prove himself as a senior is something he will come to regret. Other players like Cosmi, who will go first round, it makes more sense. Same for Ossai. They have successful college careers. Eagles needs more work to be ready.
I agree with you battle ship. Without a sure fire better QB and play calling wth does Eagles wanna come back for?
In your post you clearly stated that our players were lazy, conceited, and not smart enough to succeed in life. That they're worthless without fb. You don't know those kids. Your reply has nothing to do with Brennan Eagles it has more to do with our team.

My goodness this liberal hatred has got to stop. Just because I'm liberal doesn't mean I hate conservatives. For goodness sakes my wife voted for DT. Since I'm LDS I'm sure most people at my ward voted for DT. My daughter in law who I love dearly has become a liberal extremist. Her hatred of DT has gotten to the point where she's off the rails now.
I have posted on here many times that I have no use for extremists on either side. On the conservative channel newsmax I ignore. The now this liberal channel is a good example of this as is the young turks.
I was talking to my son on Thanksgiving day. He's more liberal than me but he said you vote for your candidate but you can't do anything to can't change the election if most people don't agree with you. I let myself get sucked in by youtube channels and that was wrong. Make your decision and don't hate people who don't agree with you. Believe me it's not worth it.
And please stop hating on the black students who object to the EoT.
One last thing I thing. I really think it's ok for the EoT to be the alma mater.

I find you to be a good dude Cali. Giving you a hard time for being a liberal is in good fun from my standpoint. No hatred here. I have just as much issue and arguments with my dad, who is ultra right.
I don't hate you because you're a liberal. I enjoy some of what you post. I think that liberals have no common sense about the majority of things and they hate Trump more than they like their own party. Trying to reason with a liberal is a waste of time. They don't get it. A big difference is you won't see rioting, looting, violence, "protests" and arson from conservatives. We'll go about our lives as we did when Obama was in office, unlike how radical liberals have conducted themselves for the last four years.
Our president did a lot of good things for America as a country and Americans as people. Unfortunately that wasn't enough and wasn't appreciated by leftists. IMO we're in for a rough future with the asinine things that the Dems want to do. It's downright scary. They have zero common sense.
