Most of the interview pertained to AI, his role in developing it, and the potential risks. He had a couple of scary things to say, first of which is that when he took over the company the US government and possibly foreign governments had access to nearly all of Twitter's information. In other words, they knew everything about everybody, including what's in your private DMs.
The second scary story he told was about Larry Page of Google. Page is one of the leaders in developing AI. And apparently he takes a very dim view of regulation, and of humans. He foresees a super AI that will take over from mankind. And he's not the least bit worried about the impact this might have on humanity. When quizzed on this by Musk, Page once said to him "you're just a speciesist."
