I just got off the phone with Manor LB and 2016 UT signee Erick Fowler, and it looks like things could be moving in the right direction.
Fowler talked to Vance Bedford tonight and Bedford told him Fowler's test scores were available and he made the necessary score.
"I got them back. They called me with good news, saying I did a lot better," Fowler said. "I have to bring my official transcript up there tomorrow. They'll let me know for sure then, but they said I did really well on the test.
"They called me with the good news about an hour ago. They were excited."
If everything checks out tomorrow, Fowler, a five-star prospect, hopes to enroll at Texas for the second summer session. He's ready to get started.
"I'm very relieved. I'm just ready to play get to working, ready to get on campus," Fowler said.
