Oh and btw TX reported almosr 4,000. new cases today. They now rank #7 behind MA in most reported cases. But at this rate by the end of June they will pass them by.

And after "forgetting" to mention them earlier they acknowledged that there are 1400 cases involving inmates which brought it up to the near 4000 cases that I mentioned above.
If TX is too dumb to tell people to wear masks it will get uglier. By the way my wife sells infection control products to all the major hospitals in Texas and is seeing the spike in hospitalizations.
There goes the season for the Cowboys, might as well shut it down. He is out for the season. End of story.
I would offer a different take.
This could be the best thing that could happen to him. He's young and fit so he will likely have minimal symptoms and recover quickly with antibodies in his system. Assuming that happens, he will be able to play with reckless abandon during the season confident that he will not contract it again.
One more thing 13 TX fb players tested positive for the coronavirus and 4 more tested positive for the antibody. Thing is only 58 players have reported so far. What's going to happen when the whole team reports to Austin?
And TX reported 3,228 new cases today. 4,000 on Tuesday I'm afraid were trending upwards and it's going to get worse before it gets better. TX has shot up all the way to #5 in cases reported. And they'll be #4 by the end of June. TX was slow in testing people but now that more people are getting tested they've skyrocketed in cases reported and deaths the fb team is a good example. I hate seeing this happen this virus is affecting everyone. They thought it was just elderly with pre existing conditions but the TX fb team proves otherwise. You know this may not go away for a long time.
I hope it's not true but CA and TX are trending upwards on a steady basis. Other states have been trending downwards because they have locked their states down and those states may be opening up soon. I'm speaking of MA, NY, IL, NJ, and WA and more.
The state of TX reported 4,101 new cases of covid 19 today. That makes over 123,000 cases and is rising at a rate that by the end of June TX will surpass IL and will rank 4th among reported cases.
Deaths down 5 straight days, down to 10 yesterday (down from a high of 43). Looks like things are trending the right way, at least in the last few days. And I know all Texans and Americans are rooting for such good news!
Lampasas....I would like a link to where these folks that recovered and have antibodies.....and that the antibodies will protect them from further infection. I am not disputing your info it is just that I have found not one single valid source that confirms this. In fact, I have read of a woman that was hospitalized with the covid that recovered....showed negative and then 2 months later came down with it again.
The health industry has had MONTHS with available plasma and has yet to offer a credible vaccine. I am very much thinking conspiracy!
I have not seen definitive "proof", hence the words "could", and "likely".
I have seen many talking heads (media subject matter experts) expressing opinions where they expect those who contract, and survive covid to have antibodies in their systems and have immunity similar to what happens with other viruses.
The issue I have is there are a lot ofs...."should be...and opinions"....but the fact is if anyone knows anything they damned sure are not letting us in on it. How so little can be known about this virus at this late date is beyond suspicious to me.

You seem to revel/enjoy any kind of negative news related to the CV. All over a virus with a .02 mortality rate. You live in California, so helps to understand things.
Wrong. Governor Newsome is has been doing his best to get in front of this virus. But when you govern a state with 40,000,000 people and a lot of them don't care about the restrictions the numbers look pretty bad here. Now he has clamped down really hard. If you go to the store, or somewhere on public without a mask the business have been told not to let them in. I saw that happen to a couple at the Safeway on Sunday. But CA is #3 in most reported cases and before to long will lead the nation.
But I am very suspicious that the powers that be in TX are not trying to test people like they should. I keep up with my family in TX. My family is probably liberal but my extended family is conservative. And all of them have told me that Dan Patrick has made no effort to stop it in TX. They finally had to disclose last week that 1400 people in TX prisons have tested positive and they said he withheld that information for weeks. The powers that be in TX are making an effort to test people and the numbers are trending upwards. Finally all of them have said that Governor Abbott wanted to be more active but he was under pressure from the president and especially DP not to. And in light of what DP stated about the coronavirus makes me wonder.
You can just stop at Gavin Newsome. The guy couldn't spell cat if you spotted him the c and the t and has zero common sense. The country should have never been shut down over this "plandemic" in the first place. You watch, after November 3rd, the "virus" will be long gone.

Now let me explain to you what establishment liberal means and what it doesn't mean. Right now people in CA are most concerned where their next meal is going to come from global warming is the last thing on my mind and most other people's mind. I'm still getting paid for work but I'm also on SS as is my wife and with all 3 incomes combined were doing ok but that's all were doing and that's the same thing for most liberals out here.

Seriously, you think NY, NJ, and MA handled this well? Texas has a fraction of the deaths and cases that they had. I guess Texas should have kept things open and let it run it's course so our cases would have been as high as theirs, then we could all feel good about having "lower" cases now.

I no longer pay attention to the death rate with CV. It's so tiny and that's even with all the juiced up numbers from "comorbitities". There was never a reason to shut down everything from this virus. The only issue to deal with is if you test positive then you and everyone else you live with will need to be quarantined for a couple of weeks. That's it. This isn't a death sentence by any stretch and nothing to be concerned with at all.
