Fire Steve Sarkisian

Nobody wants this job dude. It’s an awful job. There are a dozen Jerrahs that think they know what’s best. There are no players who play with anger. Toxic masculinity is not allowed. Wokeness is encouraged. Football is just a casual hobby for the players that choose Texas.

Lombardi, Saban, Swinney, Briles, Johnson, Landry, etc couldn't fix Texas. Texas will never be a factor in the CFB world again. DKR is turning over in his grave.

I wonder if his nickname will have to be changed from “Seven Win Sark” to “Six Win Sark” after this season?

It's people tuning in to watch the train wreck. Most Texas fans have changed the channel.
Yep. I changed the channel mid 3rd qtr. I have to believe only a very small percentage of people that tuned in stayed until the very end.

Don't feed the troll. Sark will be here for a minimum of 2.5 more years. His tenure at Texas will be decided in the portal after this season.
It’s asinine to think CSS will be fired after one season There’s a lot of systemic rot that needs to be cleaned out What we don’t know is if Sark is the one to do it.

Correct. He may be too nice to make the needed changes. He needs to go about this in a ruthless manner. All tape should be studied to determine who needs to go and who has potential. Right now they need to be studying rosters of other teams so that they may identify potential players that may fill in right away. Waiting for recruits to develop is a thing of the past. Sark's ship has been torpedoed and is taking on water. He needs to act fast or it's going to be a long 2-3 years. A .500 season or worse next year and it's over for him.

Personally, I think Sark is of the old school and actually believes that he has 4-5 years to build a team. He doesn't. Why do I believe this? He has a deep snapper and a kicker in the '22 class. Those are positions that can be filled in the portal NOW. I think the days of having large recruiting classes are over. The new way will be to fill in positions of need through the portal and add high quality players through recruiting. Look at many of the SEC classes. They are lower in number but the highest of quality. We currently have a class of high people numbers but lower overall quality. This is the wrong approach.

Sark can't wait till the '22 class matures. He won't be here for their junior year if he doesn't act now.

All excellent points. However, what highly rated kid would want to come play for Texas? If you were in that position, why would you even consider Texas? I bleed orange, but if I were 18 and a top notch recruit I wouldn't give Texas the time of day.

Kids that want to start from day 1 is a good pitch right now. There’s still kids out there that grew up fans that still want to come here. Even as bad as some of those Herman and CS years were they were still able to pull in good recruiting classes.

Go away troll. Post less during your freebie. None would be about right.
Thanks for playing.

The message should be, "We need players like you to fix this".

All positions are open and let this best man win.

He should have also recognized that this wasn't a 10 win team before the season started and not jerked Card after 1 bad outing. Now Card would have 9 games under his belt. Especially considering that our offense has a horrible offensive line and a receiving group that struggles to get open and catch the ball on a consistent basis.
