Let's get back to fb people on here are starting to get launched again. Our team is back at practice and this week they're putting on the pads as well.

In his press conferences Sarkisian talked about some of our players. He spoke highly of Jaden Alexis who enrolled early. He's the FL kid with Ivy league grades. I heard he has legitimate 4.41 speed.

He talked about moving Brendan Schooler to db. What! Screech! slam on the breaks! Brendan Schooler couldn't catch the ball when Sam threw it to him. And in the ISU game he showed his ineptitude at tracking the ball.

And speaking of slow white db's Dylan Haines, Schooler, 😂 I'm sure you know that Blake Gideon is the new safeties coach. Aw Blake was actually a decent safety. His performance dropped after Earl Thomas left but he was still a good player. I had a hard time forgiving him for the dropped interception at TT but after 11 years of therapy with Dr Hodges and the group I learned to forgive him 😅. Btw his wife is hot she would be a great host when the recruits come for a visit 😃

And finally I would like to speak of the seniors who decided to come back. I sure hope the coaches tell them that they will have to earn their jobs. Besides Schooler I'm speaking of Kerstetter, Brewer, and Okafor. We've got better players than those guys. And on defense there's Jacoby Jones. He was the Derek Kerstetter of the defense always good for 2 personal fouls a game. We've got better players. Oh and in an interview yesterday K Coburn said he will lose 25 pounds before the season starts.

Don't mean to be long winded but hey it's longhorn fb

ok Cali....just for you....no QB has seperated himself from the other.....we are running way more two TE sets than has been the custom....the focus of this offense might be the running game....which play?...they say the one where we give it to Bijan....the defense is still ahead of the offense right now, but the gap is closing...Brewer is looking like his pre injury self and the other TE spot rotates....Whittington is the best WR..

ok...now go back to arguing with Bell.....

I am pulling for Casey to show he is the man. He had a great bowl, but I would never anoint anybody off of one game. No matter how you dice it, having two OL seniors in Okafor and Kerstetter is a good thing. Nothing I see points to us having an above average season. I hope to change my mind, but the ou game will be the game that tells us what kind of team we have. I have us at 4-1 (loss to TCU) going into the RRS.

Blah blah blah

I'm hoping with a better offensive philosophy we will put teams away earlier in the game.

I saw on longhorn wire that there are 6 players who could start next year Jaylin Ford could be the new mlb. And the LSU xfr Ray Thornton could be the other starter. For the last month that coaches have spoken highly of Troy Omeire he could be the kind of #1 receiver we haven't had in a long time. And I agree about Andrej Karic in the last 2 games he showed how much talent he had. Although we have a lot of talent on the dl Alfred Collins could be a starter this year. That interception against CO was incredible. Now the thing is all of these kids didn't start till the CO game. Omeire was injured and Thornton is a xfr but the question is why did Herman wait till it was too late to put these kids on the field?

There are other names on the offense line showing up with Kerstetter hurt and making a name for themselves. Here ya go.

Thanks guys for the football updates. They give me comfort while the World decentigrates!

you read that wrong. I was not attempting to insult you at all. I went looking for FB stuff to post and I posted it. If you were insulted by that I dont know what you wanted. I will not bother with that attempt again.

And one thing I've already noticed about Sarkisian. In his first year he picked up an LSU and ND guys in the transfer portals. And it appears the LSU guy, Ray Thornton, is going to be a starter.

I mean Herman really sucked when it came to the xfr portal. Lets see if I remember this correctly. Rice, GT, ST, and Mcneese state. I mean what in the name of Darrell Royal is going on here?

I have access to lots of Spring training info. If you are insulted when I post something I am sorry.

I've never had any problem with you and I assume you think the same way. A misunderstanding let's forget about it.

Here's my report from Spring Practice. BAYLOR IS THE NATIONAL CHAMPION IN MEN'S BASKETBALL - SIC'EM BEARS!!!! Anyone want to come to George's after the parade on Tuesday I'm buying!

This is what I need to know: Who is UT's Mac Jones and Devonta Smith? It all starts there with Sark's offense. Can he duplicate it at Texas? Is the talent there yet?

IMO, it's getting there. Sark is a big upgrade over Herman. Right now, no, but I like how Sark has matured and how he's following the Bama blueprint.

There was word that Sark wasn't too happy with our receivers and all the drop balls and looking around like these guys are on Scholarships

You know I think I read that the coaches liked our skill players and dl. I don't know maybe they were only talking about the rbs. I saw in an interview that he really likes Jaden Alexis. And maybe there's an between the lines message to the receivers about dropped balls and not being impressed.

Bama blueprint = trunkloads of cash left in front of recruits homes. If we are doing that then we will be there soon. Herman was an average coach with little creativity and lots of sjw. It's going to take awhile. I don't have muxh hope for this roster outside of running and defense.

You just heard about the receivers. Allegedly, he's not happy with much at all. And why would he be? Look at the level of talent and discipline he left behind. It's like judging the Miss Los Angeles beauty pageant and then being asked to judge the Miss Palo Duro Canyon pageant.

Otoh he should tell them how AL has done it the last 12 years. Given their success, and our lack of it maybe they'll listen. It's really up to Sarkisian to teach them how to win. Maybe there's a between the lines message to the team when he. says he's not happy. Maybe

He's telling the Admin that it's going to take a while. They need to have better players all across the roster except for DL. Don't expect miracles this season.

immitating Alabama was Mack's downfall. He wanted to do it but failed and brought us down with him. ...thenagain, he didnt bring in any Bama coaches to make it happen.

I bet he isnt happy, but he knew we didnt have much when he came. The WR's keep dropping the ball....the QB's are in a race of mediocrity, but Bijan impresses anyone. No wonder he will rely heavily on the run game.

I expect we ill be better on less "stupid" at least....

He knows what talented RBs look like - e.g., Najee Harris. We’ll see if he can coach and scheme around the talent he does have.

We were a goal line fumble, and a canceled game against KS from finishing 9/2. As it was we still finished 19th. He has NOT inherited a mediocre team.

People should read the article in Longhorn Wire about 6 players who could start this year. 1 is a xfr and another was injured and out for the season. But the other 4 got their 1st start in the CO game and kicked ass.

Receivers? Did you read on the numerous sites that the coaches really like Omeire and Alexis? Well why not?

Finally there's Bijan. This young man has real Heisman winner potential and his backup would be a feature rb at most schools. C'mon
