This year they're putting their A games on at 11 am CDT. The last few years they've done TX/OK and tOSU/MI which are usually early start times. But that means their 2:30 and night games will be B games and they're almost certain to get clobbered in the ratings.

Now Fox has no relations with the southern conferences which means the conferences that will benefit most from this is the Big XII and the little 10. But personally I think Fox is going to regret this.

I think they're making a play for the little 10. They carry the little ten title game and alternate the Pac XII and Big XII title games. But they're going to pay a lot more money for the little 10 games the next few years and they will no longer do the Pac XII or the Big XII title games I'm wondering if Fox is going to make a play for the little 10 when the contracts are up in 2023.

And who gets screwed out this Fox decision? The Pac XII as if their brand wasn't bad enough now they're paying a price for their time zone.

In the words of Jed Clampet pitiful

Fox is trying to lose money.

1. The little b1g is not a power conference. They rely on players from the south. They are at our high school games with wads of cash. For the record, I'm not paying for expensive tv to see nebraska vs minnesota at 11 am. I'd rather work a half-day and wait for the Texas game. If Fox wants to go "all-in" with the little 10, go for it. They are going to be covering a conference that will get a team in the playoff one out of every 3 years. As discussed in another thread, VPN's allow for free streaming of cfb games. VPN = Napster.

2. Pac 10 collapsed when the deal with the Big 12 teams backed out. This was all aggy doing. Pac 12 needs access to earlier time zones, oh and better teams.

3. 11 am games suck. They just do. I am all for all 2:30 and early evening games.

4. Fox wants Texas in the little 10. It's not going to happen. They are trying to bait OU but the political wranglings are bigger than Fox.

I'm trying to understand your point. So Fox pulled their regional channels from Dish Network because Fox wanted too much? No comprende. BTW, Fox hasn't pulled any channels from DirecTV.

I subscribe to Dish so I oughta know.
Is Fox charging the same for DirecTV or is Dish just too stingy to pony up?
