Explain the anti-globalism in MAGA land to me.
I get the whole Euros/NATO need to pay their fair share bit and agree with that.
I don’t get withdrawing our support. I would not cede Ukraine to Putin.
Re: China, we’re not ready to just walk away from them economically. Mexico/Canada/US isn’t ready to stand more alone yet — maybe in 5+ years?
Bottom line is we can’t say fvck you to everyone without killing our economy. Hate China? Fine. But can’t grow without serious corporate investment in Mexico if we reduce trade with China.
BTW, this bigly helps Texas’ economy (Mexico’s ascendancy).
