Here is a telling tale of a book that dominated best-seller lists on Amazon for weeks before it was even published, but was virtually ignored by the mainstream media both before and after its publication in late June. Now comes the outcome: “Crisis of Character: A White House Secret Service Officer Discloses His Firsthand Experience with Hillary, Bill, And How They Operate” will debut at the top of the upcoming New York Times best-seller list on July 17.
Author Gary J. Byrne says his book has been “shunned by every mainstream media outlet,” and cites ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN in particular. All have so far declined to welcome Mr. Byrne on their programming to talk over the particulars of what has now become a bona fide best-seller.
“I am very grateful to the tens of thousands of Americans who have bought my book and listened to my message. But I would welcome the opportunity to reach a larger audience,” says Mr. Byrne. “I urge the mainstream media networks, who so far have declined to give a voice to my message and the serious allegations I have raised, to reconsider their positions, both in the interest of fairness and out of a sense of obligation to the American public.”
That may change when the new list arrives, perhaps.
“I did not write this book for partisan politics, I wrote it so I could get the truth out,” the author observes.
