Wow. How is this not getting more attention? Folks, I can’t f’ing stand that prick, but he’s a defensive genius. Don’t forget, Coach K proved at Washington he’s not above sharing defensive duties, hell iirc he even gave the other coach the DC title. This could work out beautifully for Texas.

Btw, the fat bastard also holds a grudge, and he’s probably none too happy with TCU right now.

He’s definitely my least favorite but he is a defensive guru. Had a knack for taking athletes out of high school and molding them into his defensive scheme. TCU should have never fired him. Going to be hard to find a coach to replicate the success he had in his time there.

Let's be real here. Is Patterson a good coach, and did he do things at TCU that no one thought would be imaginable? No doubt. However, in the last six years the program wasn't exactly lighting the world on fire under his watch. I think that it was time to move on from Patterson.
