On defense- he has a guy in PK that can get it done IF he has the personnel. But in hiring Patterson, Sark has a proven defensive commodity and if PK can't get it done, Sark can fire him and bring in Patterson and Sark gets to extend his stay. As long as Sark is putting enough points on the board to win games, if he's getting beat, he's got that "defensive guy" to drop some blame on.
