I'll need to see each of them throw live at least once (hopefully twice - who knows if either will throw at the combine) through the draft process to form a totally concrete opinion, but right off the bat, I would strongly lean toward believing Goff is the better prospect.
I texted and spoke with folks affiliated with the Cal staff and it's pretty clear to me by how much he's admired by coaches, that he'll be a hit with scouts and GMs, too. Who knows how the process will go and it's still 2015, but I don't think it's outside the realm of reasonable possibility that we'll be talking about Goff as the possible first pick of the draft leading into draft week. With a new regime in Cleveland, it is clear that trading up from two or three with Tennessee (who may also have a new GM in place if rightfully canning Webster) would be a possibility. You could also see San Francisco or others trading up to the first pick to get ahead of Cleveland.
