Please let Labor Day get here immediately if not sooner. What do you consider the greatest fg's in school history? Here is my list.

1995 Phil Dawson against Virginia. 50 yards on the last play.

2004 Dusty Mangum against Michigan. 37 yards on the last play. In the Rose Bowl. Of course we all know that :)

2009 Hunter Lawrence against Nebraska. What was it 46 yards? Also on the last play. Sent us to the Rose Bowl.

2011 Justin Tucker against the aggies. From 40 yards. Need I say anything more.

As much as I loved TX/VA if I had to rank number one it would be Dusty Mangum simply because of the magnitude. If you have a thought on this or another a fg to the list please do so.

Start the season please!!!!!!!!

I agree on Mangum. UT was still trying to get over the OU hump, and this paved the way for the national title the following year.

Both kicks were great but Texas has beat Nebraska several times and thought the Michigan game opened some eyes up north and would have been a shame to lose with Vince Young performance so give me Mangum.I also like the fact he was a walkon.

The one that's best in my memory is Justin Tucker giving us scoreboard over the Aggies. 27-25 and 76-37-5

We need to resume that series. The Aggies have been in time out for long enough.

After that michigan game Mack brown looks at the camera and says "this might not be the best finish to a rose bowl ever, but I doubt there could ever be one better..."

Little did he know.....

I am partial to the Phil Dawson Virginia field goal. Was on the field for that game. Broke my glasses during the craziness on the field after the game. .

You know when you see a game like that in person its so much better when you see it in person. Virginia's color is blue. After the fg the field was a blur of burnt orange and blue for I don't know how long.

I said after the JT fg I couldn't sleep till the next day. If I'd have seen it in person it wouldn't have slept till February =)roll
