He was in his personal car on the way to work, stopped at a light when a person walked up to his car and fired multiple rounds at him. Shooter left, came back with another gun and fired more rounds at the officer... then ran away. The Constable was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Law enforcement has been a tracking person of interest via license plate readers and tracked a suspect driving South on I45, chase ensued and the POS drove his car off the Galveston Island causeway bridge into the channel. News had the TranStar camera's on him waving his hands, waiting for them to rescue him.
This makes two law enforcement officers ambushed like this in a week in Texas. Prayers to his family and friends and may the POS rot in hell!
