I can't be the only one who has noticed the sad and annoying trend of people adding "right?" in a meaningless way to many of their statements. It happens in everyday life, seemingly all over the place. I've also noticed it coming from highly paid broadcasters. Greg Olsen comes to mind, but there are others.

I catch myself doing it on rare occasion and make a conscious effort to try not to do it at all.
