Over the years, many on the board have supported our cause of helping our Homeless and at risk veterans in their transition from military to civilian life. And we appreciate your support with such efforts as our R Lee Ermey Memorial Golf Classic and Wreaths Across America.

Our Veterans Resource Center now has several arms and continues to grow

  • HVSD, how we got started. A day center for veterans offering 2 meals a day, showers and laundry facilities, computer labs
  • Assistance with veterans plugging into the VA and with state benefits
  • Our welding and forklift driving schools (featured below) run through Dallas College and with over 500 certified welders graduated.
  • The Employment Center, which has now landed over 800 veterans with employment.
All of which is accomplished on a shoestring budget.

Ken's organizations do many things. Beyond being a day center for homeless veterans, the welding school has certified over 500 veterans. The vast majority of those now working as welders.

Lining up jobs for our welding students grew into an employment center helping veterans find all types of work. This in addition to HVSD/VRC on going work helping veterans get plugged into the VA and to file claims.
