Any thoughts? We're favored by 14 or 15. I'm not a gambler but that seems high. I've watched them play and they're not particularly talented on offense, but good grief they are physical.

I think this is a really tough test for our offense. If we can put up big numbers against their defense then it will just mean our offense is for real. They are a top 15 defense in the country right now. 14 points seems like a lot of points to give up.

Iowa St is one of those teams like tech that always seem to give Texas a fit. All bets are off when you play them. The good thing is Texas is playing at home and Iowa St doesn’t look that great this year. They’ve lost to Baylor, Kansas, and Kansas St this year.

I think this one will be a blowout but you just never know with Texas. They are so damn inconsistent but I have a feeling Ewers will change that. Texas just plays a lot better when he’s in the game.

Somebody else said the inconsistent thing to me today. And other than tech, we've been pretty consistently good. There have been lulls-- long drives by utsa come to mind, but we've mostly been solid to very good.

I think a lot of the inconsistency issues start with the QB position. When Quinn has played the offense has been really consistent.

It’s all about our execution. If the offense executes there is not a defense in the country that will shut down Quinn, Bijan, worthy, Sanders and Jwhit. Just too many weapons for any defense to stop.
