Card is probably the best back up QB in the country and would probably be the starter for the majority of CFB teams. Gotta admit Texas has some of the best QB depth out of any team, Card and Murphy are both talented.
Card is not a P5 top tier QB. He’s extremely limited in the passing game. However, he is tough, smart and probably a good leader. And when he doesn’t have a bum ankle he can scramble.
I think if he was in an offense that was catered more to him using his legs he would be better. That’s the best part of his game to me. Just watching Ewers today just shows how far Card is off though.
He would be highly sought after if he went into the transfer portal. He’s also on track to graduate at the end of this school year which would make his decision easier. I personally would prefer he stays because it’s vital to have a solid backup who knows the offense.
Murphy will have the offense down by next year. Also Arch will be here. We’ll be just fine without him.
He might stay. Maybe he just wants to be at UT, and if that’s the case great. I expect him to hit the portal though.
If it comes down to QB2s, in Card, we are in a lot better shape than aggy or bama.

I'm glad that Milroe didn't sign with Texas. He's one dimensional. His passing accuracy is awful.
Milroe looks like he’ll play OLB in the league. Built like a brick shithouse but def not a good qb

Maybe not. Tennessee is good Heupel has done a great job. OU probably wishes they would of tried to bring him home.
Even more appreciation for him after seeing some backup QBs yesterday from OU, Bama and Kentucky (Tech guy did ok)
For sure he could start many places and there will be many G5 schools that will go hard after him in the portal...if he transfers.
I was one of the few (or only) doubters about Quinn being ready. I can bury that doubt deep into the "being wrong" grave. The moment wasn't too big for him and he played confident and made things look easy. I know ou's defense isn't very good, but that environment is difficult to play in no matter who you are.
