I think it’s taunting but don’t really care. Whip the team you’re playing and they won’t do it.

Horns down is part of the hate of the rivalry. I remember a big ass fight on Market street back in 80 or 81. Some fans were talking shit and one did the horns down and it was on like Donkey Kong, back then Donkey Kong was the shit. I think 60 dudes got arrested. It was glorious.

My dad was saying, this is the kind of thing they call in a Texas Ranger to stop.

I think it sucks. Since my football consciousness started, circa 1983, the hook em and horns down sign has been apart of the greatest sport rivalry I have known, and likely will ever know.

At least the question has been answered ahead of time so there is no question...or bitching. I do wonder how it happened this year that a group of refs decided "it" was unsportsmanlike. Regardless, looking forward to a physical, epic game.
