With the Deep Dig's 2016 regular-season finale coming this week in written form for defense -- and lots of excitement heading into spring ball and beyond in 2017 -- I want to test the idea of a "solo"-pod for our OB community.
If people like it, we can explore working it (or something like it) into developing plans here at OB to deliver more content like this to you on a more regular -- and frequent -- basis.
It will be a Texas football podcast. That would always be the primary focus. My vision is for the main portion to cover the team, program rumors, recruiting (during the time of the year when I am able to actually be knowledgable about it), and general Football 101 talk. I'm sure we'll also talk lots of NFL draft and college football buzz, etc.
I need your questions for an important final segment I'm envisioning. They can be about anything. I'll take good questions about Texas football, but I'm also very interested in other interesting questions from other walks of life for this segment of the podcast.
Questions about anything from parenting to gardening to dog-training to fishing to marriage to finances to fantasy football to wine to BBQ smokers to what life's like as a touring musician ... really, anything. Stuff about my background and views, my methods for evaluation, how much I tip the bartender when I pick food up for take-out, etc.
I'll read and answer selected questions on the podcast. I think it will be fun, but what I think doesn't really matter as we all know ...
