when you finally have to deal with this, your perspective really changes. How many sons/daughters live long enough to see both their parents make it to their 90's together? Went back to San Antonio for the funeral. St Paul's Episcopal Church was filled to capacity something it rarely was when I went there as a kid. The RRR was on during the funeral saw the second half when things like this happen it didn't matter that we lost. All people wanted to talk about was Art Briles anyway. Why?

She bled more burnt orange than people who actually went to UT. She would always want to ask about the rules during the most exciting part of the game =)roll

She's not suffering anymore she was in a nursing home but a year ago she said she wanted to die at home and she did. She spent the final days mostly sleeping not able to talk or remember anybody. So this is a blessing.

To a wonderful live that was well lived

Holy cow man! She made it to 100!?! That's amazing. She must have been one tough lady to keep father time at bay for that long. We should all be so lucky.

I'm not sure the officials know the rules. See Seth Russell/Malik Jefferson last week. Mom's are the best - Beautiful tribute.
