I have an iphone. My mom has an Android. I can send her text messages, but anything that isn’t text won’t go through (e.g. links, pics). My brother and sister-in-law also have iphones and are on my plan, but they can send her links, pics etc. I compared my iphone messaging settings to my brother’s phone and they were identical.
