They gonna reup the Count, which is good news, he's a hellva AD!

After less than two years on the job in Austin, athletics director Chris Del Conte looks like he’ll be sticking around the Forty Acres for some time — the University of Texas Board of Regents are set to approve a raise and extension for Del Conte.

Hired in December of 2017 from TCU, Del Conte has become popular with the Longhorns fanbase for his accessibility on Twitter and his rapid improvement of the gameday atmosphere surrounding the football program with the creation of Bevo Blvd. and Longhorn City Limits, as well as Smokey’s Midway this year to bridge the two.

Here’s his old contract structure first and his new contract structure second:

Moody Center is a huge step there. Shaka has the boys looking good so far, hopefully that continues.
Speaking of, CDC has major renovations going on with football, basketball and baseball. Also revamped softball, swimming and tennis. That's basically all of our major sports that are spectator heavy. He has completely changed the Saturday atmosphere as well surrounding football games. Give that man all the money.

we were up 3 on cal baptist with 3 minutes to go last night. cal baptist. they did respond to pull away. also, they seem to have more of a junkyard dog mentality and i saw actual screens away from the ball, which implies movement of any kind away from the ball. i root for them, and will continue to do so, but we kinda do this every year in non-conference. big win, gets hopes up. but then the scouting in conference gets deeper and we fall back. sometimes way back. we were 2 of 18 shooting 3s in the first half (bad!), and we started attacking the rim in the second half (good!). but can we do that at will against tech or kansas or k-state or baylor? i dunno. but even if we go 27-2, del conte should forfeit his contract if ever even considers extending shaka.

You a gravy in a bottle man now? Or the complete opposite and go over filtered, mostly water "light" beer?

Or even better yet, choose that top class Evan Williams lol
Belgian. Usually trappist. Look, I've literally been to every country that makes beer in Europe. The German beer Reinheitsgebot laws insure a certain purity and they make hella beer. I've been to Budvar in the Czech Republic and had an original Budweiser. The Hungarians make a couple decent beers. Even the French have a few. But the Belgians don't fvck around. There's a bar in Brussels called Delirium Cafe that has the Guinness book record for serving the largest variety of beer labels. I think it's up over 2000 now. That's my spot. The bartenders there all call me "Texas" because I always have my Texas hat on, and every time they serve me, they serve me something different. The Belgian beers are where it's at my man. Try a Tripel karmeliet next time you get the chance. Or a saison DuPont. Change your life.

Stouts are my thing. Especially a bourbon barrel aged stout.
Confession time: I manage a craft beer bar in downtown Round Rock one day a week (Sunday’s) for shits and giggles, and we have 60 rotating taps on the wall. I’ve tasted over a thousand beers over time and list of favorite styles are BBA stouts, good IPA’s (ever tried Pinthouse Pizza Electric Jellyfish?), a good tripel, and a barrel aged barleywine. I could go on and on about favorite breweries. Central Texas has TONS of them.
Any of y’all are welcome to drop by anytime and I will take care of you.

Dude I love stouts---- but living in texas and it being 100 degrees 9 months out of the year, it's hard to enjoy one without sweating like a whore in church. When I'm in Scotland or Ireland then of course--- let's do this because after I walk out of the pub I'm still going to need to put a coat on because it's cold outside. Those stouts literally warm me up. Buts it's hard to enjoy them here when your balls are sticking to your thigh.

No, I don't care for White Claw. My point I'm chuckling about is sometimes "beer snob guy" looks down their nose at those who don't drink what they drink. It's why they're beer snobs, lol. To each their own.

I know just messing with ya. I won’t pass up a beer unless it’s some fruit loaded shit.

Are you talking to me? Are YOU talking to me? I can’t see who I’m talking to beyond my nose. :)
Not a snob at all but know plenty. I’m a whiskey/vodka guy at home, though I do have quite the selection in my closet at home aging. Got some 2013, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 Dogfish Head 120’s that one day I will dive into. Very boozy.

Ok, Yeah, I’m a beer snob. o_O

It’s an IPA and the 120 minute is how long it was brewed to make the bitterness (IBUs). The collection is in years he’s going to do a vertical tasting sooner or later. It’s really no different than whiskey or wine. Only difference is the Miller Lite drinkers think we’re crazy for buying expensive beers that aren’t mass produced.

Drunk!=)roll;)

yeah he’ll be in the shitter talking to it! 15%-20% each beer.
IPA's give me the worst gas. I don't know why. But between the hoppiness making the back of my jaw go numb and tasting like someone just poured baby aspirin powder in my mouth (that bitterness just kills me) I'm off IPA's that make your hair stand on end. The high ABV beers are the belgians. They've got some with 13+% abv. But you'd never know it while drinking them.

I wouldn't be caught dead drinking Miller Lite! I drink the cream of the crop, Natural Light. Unless it's free, then I'll drink anything.
