Come on now, OSU, I like Gundy and think he does a good job and runs a good program but a loss is a loss. This is kind of like Les Miles trying to explain away his team's 2 losses and convince people that his team deserved to be in the NC because "we're undefeated in regulation"

At what point do you simply let it go?
Well, if you’re the Oklahoma State football team, it’s apparently a longer process than most.
On Alamo Bowl rings unveiled Wednesday, Oklahoma State’s record is listed at 11-2. One problem: The Cowboys actually were 10-3, the one controversial loss to Central Michigan on a final play that officials later admitted shouldn’t have been allowed.
Gavin Lang, a spokesman for the Oklahoma State football team, confirmed to The News that the 11-2 record printed on the rings was an intentional decision.
Central Michigan coach John Bonamego, reached by The News, said he had no comment.
On Sept. 10, Central Michigan stunned then-No. 22 Oklahoma State, 30-27, on a Hail Mary-lateral on an untimed down.
In the days afterward, officials admitted the mistake, and the Mid-American Conference suspended eight officials, while the Big 12 suspended two replay officials.
Still, officially, it went down as one of the biggest wins in recent CMU history, and one of the worst losses for Oklahoma State.
Oklahoma State went on to win nine of its final 11 games, including a 38-8 victory over Colorado in the Alamo Bowl.
Central Michigan, meanwhile, went on to lose seven of its final 11, including a 55-10 defeat to Tulsa in the Miami Beach Bowl.
