Is the Tom Herman era now over?

This team is abysmally coached and there is no one else to blame but TH....absolutely NO DAMN EXCUSE to lose the game against Iowa State.

If the Horns arent coached into a offensive coma in the first half they easily win this game....however they have a chance to win it in the second half but predictably go into a offensive coma after getting the lead in the 4th quarter.

We only need a first down or maybe two and win the game late but Noooooooo.......a loser mentality says go into conservative mode and run clock and hope for a win.....and we lose because our coaches are weak and timid.

It is time to start over unfortunately....TH and his USA Conference staff have proven they are not elite and cannot coach elite talent.

The only question for me is, does our AD have the COURAGE to go get the best coach available? In my opinion there is a former OSU coach out there just waiting for a call.

I’m not pessimistic by nature and I live in the heart of SEC country... I hear Saban at his press time talking about about how their not disciplined enough in their respective positions... if this coach who’s won multiple national championships say that then I’m not cool constantly hearing TH always say the following at his....with a smile...

This is in spite of not being able to do it in every other situation. If he is playing the odds as he says, then damn it, play the odds and have an actuary on the sidelines instead of all of those consultants. At least the math guy will have his pencil in his ear scratch his head and tell you "odds are that you will go backwards based on how you have played all game long, oh, and also how you have played all season long.

You can just stop right there with your first sentence and go no further. We have ZERO running game, and that is absolutely inexcusable! The OL, RB's and coaching are a huge disappointment.

Exactly. We are Mensa play calling fools when there's two minutes left before half and we need only 30 seconds to go 80 yards and pop one in the end zone.

But give us the ball with the game on the line in the fourth quarter and we go bad juju on ourselves and try and either out thinks ourselves or just go numb between the ears.

Do you know what causes that sort of decision making?
Pressure.

And we were told that we hired coaches with ice water in their veins. Nothing could be further from the truth. We have a staff that gets more nervous than a junior chick on prom night.
