Prayers out to everyone who ran outa beer in the 3rd and the rest that lost their minds in the 4th and the ones who got drunk last night!..my day turned to shit this morning at 3, we got a full house of my sons and grandson and 1 Great grandson, I woke up and had to take a whiz and due to the noise of thunder and a Dam ripping open, I went out on my boat dock and started whizzing looking at the Causeway bridge lights in the distance and then here comes my son and grandson and they started doing the same, all's quiet no one saying nothing, and then Bam! The sliding door slides open and my wife was yelling what the hell ya'll doing out there? I told her we was helping the CC water dept with the water system and she said, the damn neighbors are gonna see ya, and I told if they are Longhorn fans I am sure they are doing the same thing and will understand! 50 years of marriage next week and I am still doing time...

On the bright side, we're bowl eligible and still have Kansas on the to-do list. I think we win the next 3 finishing at 9-3 which is tremendous improvement.
Tech is hit or miss and Iowa St can be tough but I think our guys have what it takes.

I’ll be at the game next week in Lubbock. I’m hoping it’s a 7 o’clock game but something about playing in Lubbock at night worries me. Anyways it should be a fun one, I just hope we win out and finish 9-3. I want West Virginia to beat OU and we win out so we can play them again. We should have beat them.

I'm with ya on that. First off, they shouldn't have scored that much to begin with. Nobody to blame for that except ourselves.
Honestly, if we have to lose I'd rather it be by a 2pt conversion than in OT. That brought back memories of the good old days when teams refused to settle for a tie. Obviously I hated the result but definitely can appreciate the cajones to go for it.
P.S. Herman, icing the kicker is fools gold. It just gives them a practice kick to settle their nerves. That missed fg would have handed us the W.

I've never been madder at a UT loss than this one. We put up 41 and lost. Yes we could have scored more but this loss is on Tim Beck and the D.

Seriously we just have to stay the course and see what happens next at TT...if we lose that one then we can't go to a bowl I don't think, since 09 the shit has hit this University bad in FB, its like we got a bug and can't shake it no matter who's Coach or anything,, maybe we shouldn't treat the players like Rock Stars or maybe they expect here being the Flagship Uni, maybe the pressure that they have to play with... or maybe the Fing Moons are not aligned with Saturn, or maybe its the ones that run the whole shootin match in their golden Towers, who knows?

You are the one who, in post after post, is constantly trying to hand-waive away our three losses while ignoring the similar closeness of the majority of our wins. I'm the one who is saying that our record is close to what one would expect, given our overall performance.
