2:35 p.m. update - Hearing that the plan as of right now is for a PC tomorrow morning at UT to introduce Tom Herman. Was told that's subject to change, but right now that's the plan. And also heard that Herman wants to try to make sure Mack Brown, who he worked for as a graduate assistant at Texas from 1999-2000, can be in attendance. (McComas)

12:50 p.m. update - Just confirmed through a high level source that it's official ... Tom Herman has agreed to become the Longhorns' next head coach.

Multiple high-level Texas sources report nothing official has occurred, but that it's only a matter of working out details.
Herman has told folks in Houston that he's taking the job, so it's going to happen, but first things first... they have to finalize the deal.
It shouldn't take long.
