Of course he is. My understanding though is that he's been a Sooner lean/fan for several years. Not sure why. Texas guys leaving our great state to go play in Oklahoma should be a criminal offense.
I’m watching the State champ game.. First video I’ve seen of him.. He looks great for a junior..
Hopefully common sense will prevail and he'll flip to the good guys. No reason to cross the border and be a traitor.
Does anyone actually stay in Oklahoma after they've finished their eligibility?
They all live all live in the same trailer park to save money. Everyone wants to live in Texas and that’s what’s wrong with this place.
Aledo is a great team!! Awesome defense!! But, I think we have a few that could compete.
Hold up. Calallen held fort bend Marshall to 19 points as well last week. And I can assure you that Calallen doesn't have any D1 talent .
Marshall was not the second best team in the state if 5a div II. Aledo beat 2 teams on the way that were better. Dallas - South Oak Cliff and Frisco Reedy.
I was at the game last night and not to take any credit away from Aledo but Marshall just didn’t look like a team that belonged in a state championship game. Maybe Aledo is just that good though, that was my first time watching them play in person this year.
I can assure you that Aledo would want nothing to do with North Shore. Yes, NS is 6A and Aledo is 5A, and Aledo is very good, but NS would beat them convincingly.
Will find out tonight if that Dunc D can take care of business and the way they handled allen
Aledo only has 1168 total students grades 9-12. North shore has 4833. Aledo was at one point ranked 12 in the nation. They dropped because they have some class. They started playing 2nd stringers in the second half most games to keep from winning 96-0. I'll assure you that if Aledo were to increase their student body x4 that they would be the best in the state.
They're both great programs. Yes, NS has a very large enrollment. They have three JV teams that had a combined one loss between them this year. Four kids on those JV teams have D1 offers and have never taken a snap at the varsity level. That tells you how talented and how deep the Mustangs are. Many NS players rarely played in the second half this year due to them blowing out teams by halftime. Westbrook, who is in their district, and is playing today for a state championship today against Longview, lost to NS by 40.
Man that was some crap everyone on the Dunc side was stunned and shocked not the first time I have seen a play like this Midland high and converse Judson comes back to memory.
I read where the new coach at CO said that they would recruit nation wide. He went on to say that's what recruiting is now.
Fellas I hate to say this but he's right. We've signed 19 out of state kids in our last two recruiting classes. Texas is always going to lead the nation with most D1 recruits but there just isn't enough players in TX for the kind of team coach Herman wants to put on the field. It really doesn't bother me anymore if a kid goes out of state be it OK or anywhere else.

Because of this, it makes sense to create a power conference that commands the most tv exposure to lure the best kids. It's time to ditch most of the Big 12 for greener pastures.
Edit: I would add that if these transfer rules make cfb more like the nfl, I'm out on that. The cowgirls have sucked since jerah took over in a world of free agency. We are going to have to work much harder with players to keep an edge. I think we all know what that means. The Longhorn fanbase is not like the rubes that go to cowboy games who just accept poor performance. We won't buy any bs and the stadium will empty quickly.
