at least when we were doing all that shit we was winning! No Pain, No Gain! Rule changes has made the game softer than it was, but its a different color than Burnt Orange.....

I'd like to see the practice jerseys be closer to a darker, burnt orange, but it is what it is. At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter. Game day uni's? Now that's a whole different story.

Dry wick jersey material doesn't hold certain colors as well as other materials.


It's just science. Yes, it's still burnt orange, but not AS burnt orange as FB is used to. Add in the HD camera that is incredibly sensitive to light, add in the old a$$ Technicolor from the 70's and 80's, add in moisture (sweat) and yes,the jersey color used to look darker orange.

But they are doing the best they can.

But

Darrell Royal defined the official hue of burnt orange when he became head coach. He wanted the color to be as close to brown as possible to look like the football, and help with the deception in the running game in his fullhouse T offense.
