About time some young man stood up and do it, you take the wildhorn and I get 2 big ass backs like earl and Ricky and a little on like Sproles with a good QB and running the Wishbone and the option, hell Maybe alittle Flip Flop and throw in the eye and bring it back with a little Veer and then throw some Run and Shoot at your ass and you will not stay on the field very much, I'll burn a quarter after quarter up of time before ya even hit the field, sometimes the old works better than the new said a buncha slow white boys..LOL!

I'd be all for resurrecting the "boring" wishbone in these times of pass happy spread. But we'd have a hard time finding the right sized and coached recruits in TX schools to make it happen.

I was hoping this thread was going to be about Last Chance U season 3. That is the thugiest least professional thing I have ever seen. Coach is a straight out thug and dumbass. The fact that half those kids got into D1 schools is crazy. Average IQ on that team can not be over 75.

NCAA minimum academic requirements are a joke. You need a 2.3 on 16 core classes coming out of high school with a corresponding SAT or ACT score that represents the 48th percentile. If your GPA is higher the required SAT score goes down. The way high schools operate in Texas is that a 70 is the pass fail mark but if you convert that to a 4.0 scale that 70 turns into a C not a D. It is damn near impossible to fail a kid especially in some of the under-performing schools. Its almost like you have to justify to the admin why the kid deserves below a 70. So if a kid shows up does a little bit of work they pass. Not that hard to get qualified.

I completely agree with the high school "academics" for some of these kids being an absolute joke, but what concerns me even more is that there are kids who are "non-qualifiers" due to academics. If all you have to do to pass is show up and do a couple of little assignments how do you become ineligible?

Also, in regards to Last Chance U, that place is an absolute Charlie Foxtrot. I would have serious concerns about a kid that played there based solely off of how the series went. Wouldn't count on any of those kids who left there to be a major contributor. But maybe that is just based off my dislike for the coach and the way he runs that "program"
